Medically necessary vein treatments are typically covered by Medicare and most major insurance. Cosmetic spider vein treatment is usually out of pocket. We will verify coverage before scheduling any procedure.

Most patients are seen within 1 to 3 weeks. Urgent vascular access cases for dialysis patients are prioritized.

Your insurance card, a photo ID, a list of current medications, and any prior ultrasound or imaging results if you have them. Wear loose-fitting pants or shorts so we can examine your legs comfortably.

No. A duplex ultrasound is part of every initial consultation, so the first visit needs to be in person at our Albuquerque office.
